AWSM is pleased to introduce the 2013 scholarship and internship winners.
These six college women were selected from a group of more than 150 qualified candidates. We are proud to have them represent AWSM this summer. Since 1990, AWSM has awarded scholarships and placed more than 125 college women in sports media internships.
“We greatly value our relationship with AWSM,” said Bill Hill, assistant managing editor at MLB.com, which is hosting an AWSM intern this summer. “We consistently get to choose from a group of well-qualified students, and the women we’ve chosen have performed extremely well.”
