The Association for Women in Sports Media welcomes The Associated Press and MLB Advanced Media to its sponsor lineup for its 2014 convention at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Fla., from May 22-25.
The Associated Press was most recently a sponsor for the Phoenix (2013) and Los Angeles (2010) conventions. AWSM would like to thank Lou Ferrara, vice president and managing editor of Sports, Business, Entertainment, Lifestyles, Interactive, Digital at the Associated Press for his strong support.
MLB Advanced Media is a longtime partner of AWSM through its annual internship/scholarship program and has been an annual AWSM convention sponsor since the Miami event (2008). AWSM extends its thanks to VP and Executive Producer Jim Jenks and Assistant Managing Editor Bill Hill for their continued support.
Both the Associated Press and MLB Advanced Media will be joining AWSM’s sponsor lineup at the bronze tier. The New York Times Company is currently also a bronze tier sponsor.
ESPN is a gold level sponsor for AWSM in Orlando, while the Orlando Magic is also a sponsor.
