The Association for Women in Sports Media would like to welcome the NFL to its list of sponsors for the 2014 convention.
The convention will be held at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Fla., from May 22-25, and registration is now open on AWSM’s website.
The NFL has signed on as a gold-level sponsor, and has previously sponsored AWSM conventions in 2013 (Arizona), 2012 (Chicago) and 2011 (Charlotte).
AWSM would like to thank Greg Aiello, NFL senior vice president of public relations, for his continued support of the organization.
“We admire and respect the outstanding work that AWSM does on behalf of women in sports media. There are many women covering the NFL today and we want them to know that we recognize and support them,” Aiello said.
The NFL and ESPN are both gold-level sponsors for the 2014 AWSM convention. The sponsor list also includes MLB Advanced Media, the New York Times Company, The Associated Press, USA Today Sports, the Orlando Magic and the NCAA.
