From AWSM president Amy Moritz:
As many of you know, these are some challenging financial times, and many of our members, or would-be members, are feeling the financial pinch. As president, I’ve received several emails from women who are eager to be members of AWSM and want to actively contribute their time and talent, but do not have the financial means to join at this moment.
In response, I would like to ask for your help. We are looking for membership sponsors, people who could help other women become part of AWSM. Would you be willing to sponsor a new member for one year? Annual dues are $50 for professionals and $25 for students.
Founded in 1987, the Association for Women in Sports Media (AWSM) is a worldwide organization of more than 600 women and men (professional and student) employed in sports writing, editing, broadcast and production, PR and sports information.
