Would you be interested in a basketball signed by Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans? Have you ever wanted to own a football signed by members of the New York Jets? Are you itching to don some official U.S. Olympics gear?
Tickets, sports paraphernalia, signed photographs and sports clothing are just a few of the many items that will be up for grabs in the Association for Women in Sports Media’s silent auction in Orlando, Florida, May 22-25.
All 2014 convention attendees will have an opportunity to bid on an array of items, from a Jeff Samardzija-signed Chicago Cubs jersey to a parking pass and tickets for the upcoming Rose Bowl.
Every dollar raised will benefit AWSM’s internship and scholarship fund, which has provided funds to more than 130 female college students over the past 25 years.
For those who will bid on items while at Rosen Shingle Creek, payment — either by cash or credit card — must be paid in full by the auction’s end.
AWSM would like to thank all of its corporate sponsors, as well as the numerous outlets and sports organizations for the auction’s multitude of donations.
If you’re unable to attend the 2014 convention, and you still want to donate to AWSM’s internship program, click here.
Note: The mention of Boston Red Sox tickets has been removed — the Red Sox graciously donated a ball.
